Automate702 ⌗ Index 02Free consultation

Find your AI path.
The first conversation
is free.

§ 02Who this is for

You don't need to know where to start. That's the point.

The free first conversation isn't a sales call. It's the conversation that decides whether one is worth having. We talk to four kinds of small business owners constantly. You'll probably recognize yourself.

  • 01

The owner who's also the operator

You're answering the phone, drafting the quotes, doing payroll, and reviewing every customer email. You know there are tools that could help. You don't have a Saturday to evaluate them.

  • 02

The 5–25 person business that wants to scale

You've outgrown spreadsheets and Post-its. Hiring another person is six months and forty-grand of risk. You want to know what AI can take off your team's plate before that next hire.

  • 03

    The local services business

HVAC, plumbing, dental, legal, restaurant, real estate, dealership. Every missed call is a customer your competitor caught. You need the front-end of your business answered, day and night.

  • 04

    The skeptical decision-maker

You've watched a lot of buzz come and go. You want a straight read on whether AI is real for your business — and a way to test it without committing the company. We do that conversation every week.

§ 03What you get

The free consultation is actually useful.

Most 'free consultations' are qualifying questions before someone tries to sell you a $50k engagement. That's not what this is.

  • A real conversation, not a sales call

No qualifying script, no slide deck, no junior account manager. Whoever's on the call could actually do the work if it happened.

  • An honest read on whether AI is the right move

Sometimes the answer is yes-here's-where-to-start. Sometimes it's not-yet-and-here's-why. About one in five conversations ends with us telling the owner to spend the money elsewhere first.

  • A clearer view of where leverage actually is

By the end you'll have a sharper sense of which one or two places in your business AI could meaningfully help — and which ones aren't worth the effort right now.

  • No pressure to decide anything

If you want to think it over, take the time you need. If you want to run with the conversation yourself, go ahead. If you want to engage us, we'll talk through what that'd look like.

  • No follow-up funnel

No drip campaign, no 'just checking in' emails. If you come back six months later, we'll still be here.

§ 04After the free consultation

Three ways to actually engage.

If we're a fit, we'll suggest the right tier for where you are. You can step up between them at any point. None of them require a 12-month contract.

Tier I

Roadmap

When you want clarity before you commit.

  • Two-day deep dive into your business, your stack, and your operations
  • Stakeholder interviews with you and 2–3 key people
  • Tooling, data, and integration audit
  • Written 90-day AI roadmap with prioritized opportunities
  • Cost models for each opportunity
Duration≈ 2 weeks
What you walk withA document you can take to your partner, CFO, or board. Yours to keep, hire us or not.

Best for: businesses that want a plan before a commitment.

Tier II Most picked

Build

When you've picked the project and want it shipped.

  • Roadmap (above) included
  • Full design & build of the agreed scope (e.g. AI receptionist, quote drafter, customer-service agent)
  • Integration with your phones, calendar, CRM, accounting, etc.
  • Internal training for your team
  • Soft launch with a feedback period before hard cutover
Duration4 – 10 weeks typical
What you walk withA production-ready AI system, deployed and integrated. Documented, monitored, owned by you.

Best for: small and mid-size businesses ready to put one or two pieces of AI into production.

Tier III

Operate

When you want us to keep it running and growing.

  • Tier II (above) included
  • Ongoing monitoring, drift checks, and prompt-tuning
  • Monthly review of what AI handled and where it could do more
  • On-call response within an agreed SLA
  • Quarterly business review with your team
DurationMonth-to-month, no annual lock-in
What you walk withA practice partner, not a vendor. We grow your AI capability the same way an in-house team would.

Best for: businesses that don't want this to become their next IT project.

Pricing ·We share fixed prices in writing after the free consultation, once we know what your engagement actually involves. We don't publish a rate-card because the same problem can cost wildly different amounts depending on your existing tooling — and we'd rather quote you honestly than fit you to a tier.

§ 05What to expect

Four steps, zero pressure.

Here's exactly how the first conversation works, start to finish. No surprises, no manufactured urgency.

  1. 01

    Book the call

Use the form below or call us. Tell us a sentence about your business and a problem you'd like a fresh set of eyes on.

    WhenSame-day reply
  2. 02

    We come prepared

We don't show up cold. We'll spend a bit of time on your business before the call so we're not asking you basic questions you've answered a hundred times.

    WhenBefore the call
  3. 03

    The conversation

Bring your real problems. We trade questions for ideas, ideas for honest assessments — no deck, no script, no follow-up funnel.

    WhenWithin a week, usually
  4. 04

    You decide

If we're a fit, we'll talk through what working together would look like. If not, we'll point you in a better direction. No pressure either way.

    WhenWhenever you're ready
§ 06Consultation FAQ

Questions about the free first conversation.

The questions we get most often before someone books. If yours isn't here, ask it directly in the form below — we'll answer.

  • Actually free. It's a real conversation, not a sales call — no deck, no qualifying script, no follow-up drip. If you want to think it over for six months and come back, we'll still be here.

  • Not really. Come ready to talk about a real problem or two — the kind that's been stuck in the back of your mind. Rough numbers help if you have them (call volume, response times, what you're spending on similar tools), but they're not required.

  • Whoever's most relevant to what you bring — and always someone who could actually do the work, not a sales rep or junior account manager handing you off later.

  • Yes — most consultations happen by phone or video. We work with clients across the Valley and beyond.

  • Usually within a week. Often within 48 hours if your timing matters.

  • We'll tell you. About one in five free consultations ends with us suggesting a different fix — better staff training, a process change, a different software vendor, or just waiting six months. That's part of why the conversation is worth having.

  • Take all the time you need. We don't run urgency tactics. If you want to come back next quarter or next year, we'll be here.

Engagement

The first
conversation
is free.

Tell us about the work that's eating your nights and weekends. We'll come back within one business day — with an honest read on whether AI fits, what it'd actually cost, and where to start. No sales-call ambush, no 12-month contract. If it's not the right move, we'll say so.
